Supporting ethical employment
Sustainability goes way beyond just "good for the environment". The workshop we collaborate with prioritises gender equality in wages as well as representation in managerial and supervisory roles.

Low-waste production
We make it a point to minimise waste. There is near zero material waste in our production process. All raw materials go into our products. Any off-cuts are recycled into consequent batches.

This soap contains base vegetable oils of palm and coconut oil. We chose these consciously.

Coconut oil
is a gentle skin cleanser and gives us a wonderful lather - who doesn't love big, fluffy bubbles!

Palm oil is used to give our soap firmness. Your soap will last longer and will not melt away in the shower. The palm oil used is Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)-certified and sourced locally from where the soap is produced. No animal fat is used at all.

When vegetable oils saponify in the soap making process, natural glycerin is produced. Glycerin moisturises the skin by drawing water from the air into the skin's outer layer and forming a protective layer that prevents moisture loss.

In commercial soaps, natural glycerin is extracted to be used in other products. We preserve the natural glycerin in the bar. We don’t test on animals, we love animals!
