They masks are made with hand-stamped batik and 100% cotton inner lining. The masks can be hand-washed and line-dried to be reused over and over. As part of our conscious-design process, the elastic is not sewn directly onto the mask, and can be replaced in the future to extend the lifespan of the mask. This creation is a collaboration with Indonesian artisans who maintain a traditional slow craft process.
The Mini Washing Blocks are handmade from 100% biodegradable coconut cleansers (sodium cocoate, sodium cocoyl isethionate, decyl glucoside), purified water, lemon essential oil, in a workshop which prioritises fair wages and gender equality in supervisor and manager roles. The Washing Block can be used to hand-wash the masks or as a stain stick.
